“Join New Zealand poet Dominic Hoey and Canadian poet Tyler Pennock for intimate readings and frank discussions revealing honest explorations of trauma from colonial violence and illness. Pennock is a Two-Spirit adoptee from a Cree and Metis family in Alberta whose debut poetry collection Bones examines personal and systemic trauma in the Indigenous community. Hoey is a poet, author and playwright based in Auckland, New Zealand whose poetry collection I Thought We’d be Famous discusses trauma related to health and illness.”
