Carleton University: Introducing the Inaugural FASS Indigenous Artist-in-Residence – Tyler Pennock


“The English Department and the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies as co-hosts are thrilled to introduce the inaugural FASS Indigenous Artist-in-Residence for Fall 2023. We invite you all to welcome Cree Two Spirit poet Tyler Pennock, who has published two books with Brick Books: Bones (2020) and Blood(2022).

He is also an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Indigenous Studies at the University of Toronto.

We are delighted that Tyler will be on campus this Fall, hosting office hours and workshops to mentor students in creative writing practice. He will also be available for selected class visits.
